As the New Year approaches, we take a look back over 2023

In February, we welcomed renowned teacher, coach and healer, Dr Raj Balkaran, who conducted a Soma retreat, teaching participants to ‘churn their soma’, their elixir of life and experience its power.

We held our ‘Youth, arise! Creative tools for youth workers’ training course in May and June. It was designed to empower young people to become effective leaders and change-makers in their communities

In August we did a deep dive into the traditions and practices of authentic yoga with Daniel Simpson on the Truth of Yoga retreat.

September marked 15 wonderful years of working with Erasmus+, where we marked the end of the programme by planting a flowering cherry tree. But as one door closes, another opens to new adventures. With the opening of The ASHA Farm which enabled us to welcome 60 Young British Zoroastrians, the largest group we have ever hosted.

November saw the launch of our new website – it’s a great showcase for all our events, shines a light on our charitable work and highlights what a brilliant space the ASHA Centre is as a venue for hire.

We ended the year with a Seasonal Alchemy: Winter retreat, Intentional Artistry course and a Radical Winter Solstice event.

Throughout the year we have also welcomed Queer Spirit, Soulhub, Mitchell Wheeler and Remarkable Retreats to the Centre.
